New VTMIPM RTUs Offer Enhanced Connectivity and Rugged Design

August 7, 2024 - Red Lion, a global leader in industrial automation and networking technologies, today announced the launch of two new programmable Remote Terminal Units (RTUs) designed for demanding industrial environments. The VTMIPM138D and VTMIPM248D RTUs feature robust hardware, advanced connectivity options, and powerful software capabilities, making them ideal for use in applications such as energy, water/wastewater, and manufacturing.

The VTMIPM RTUs are engineered with a rugged design to withstand extreme temperatures, humidity, and electromagnetic interference. They support a wide range of industrial protocols and feature built-in I/O channels for direct connection to sensors and actuators. Additionally, the RTUs include a secure web server and support for remote monitoring and control.
