WEB The Colombia national soccer team was one of 32 teams that participated in the 2014 FIFA World Cup, held in Brazil from June 12 to July 13, 2014. The team was led by manager José Pékerman and captained by Mario Yepes.

Tournament Performance

WEB Colombia was drawn into Group C along with Greece, Ivory Coast, and Japan. The team finished second in the group with six points, behind Ivory Coast, and advanced to the knockout round. In the Round of 16, Colombia defeated Uruguay 2-0. In the quarter-finals, Colombia lost to Brazil 2-1.
