North Korea's men's football team is set to make its highly anticipated return to international competition at the 2023 East Asian Football Federation (EAFF) E-1 Championship, scheduled to be held in Japan from July 19 to 27.
Group Stage Matches Kick Off North Korea's Tournament Journey
North Korea's first appearance at the tournament will be group stage matches, beginning with a clash against Hong Kong on July 20. They will then face local hosts Japan on July 24 before concluding their group stage campaign against China on July 27.
The North Korean team, ranked 116th in the FIFA World Rankings, will be determined to prove themselves on the international stage and showcase their footballing skills.
